Auto-Balance Impact Crusher - Design Features

The design features that are unique to the ABI Crusher (U.S. Patent #5,863,006 & 6,032,889) manufactured by Texas Crusher Systems, Inc. are:

• The rotor size produces a higher tip speed at lower RPM.
• The automatic rotor balancing system eliminates the need to balance the rotor with each wear part change and the need to change all wear parts in the rotor to achieve balance if only one part is worn out.
• Use of material packs to protect the crusher minimizes the number of wear parts required.
• Distributor plate rotates more slowly than the rotor - wear life is 3 to 4 years.
  

Other Design Features that enhance the operation of the Crusher are:

• Non-mechanical air-return system to minimize dust.
• Anvils in the top rock shelf to insure solid rock pack.
• Use of tungsten carbide for major wear parts contributes to a significant reduction in downtime because wear parts last for 600 to 2,000 hours
• Primary wear parts change from outside the rotor.
• No lid or side liners needed.
